If today you were to invest $10000 at the rate of 12%, i would have $299,599.22 at the end of 30 time periods. And this is a single amount

This is future value problem and the sum total after 10 years will be-

If today you were to invest $15000 at a rate of 15%, you would have $60,683.37 at the end of time periods. And this is single amount.
