1)The substance that can increase the risk of cancer development are termed as CARCINOGENS ( lead ,radiation exposure,smoking,alcohol,food additives and preservatives to name a few)

2)GRADING CANCERS refers to the classification of the cancer cells based on their multiplication rate,appearance and their extent of spreading

3)The Radiation therapy is specially designed yo target the cancer cells and destroy it without destroying any healthy nearby tissues.

4)The cancer which affects the connective tissues and soft tissues like fats, muscles,blood vessels,tendons and ligaments are termed as SARCOMAS

5)MOHS microscopic surgery is performed for skin cancer ( basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma )Each layer or tissue is resected and examined by cancer cells until the patient waits.

6)TIS refers to the cancer growing on the superficial tissue and not in the deeper tissue .The other name for it is in situ cancer or carcinoma in situ

7)STAGE IV is the spread of cancer to other organs or to distant site
