Solve for N as 9.1457

2: 9.4649

Using financial calculator

Input:

I/Y=14.5, PV=-1000, N=9

Solve for FV as $3,382.59

Difference = 3450-3382.59 = 67.41

Using Simple interest formula: Interest = P*N*R

67.41= 1000*14.15%*N

N= 0.4649
