Safety is the major concern to be remembered while lifting weighted objects. Back injuries are the safety hazards often happens in the workplace. In this case, it is clearly mentioned that, Ellen Armstrong is tired and is not interested in doing this task ( keeping inactive patient files to a storage area). Because of this, finally she tries to carry both the cartons together and with her sudden bend on waist may lead to serious injuries. a) Do not try to lift weights more than you are able to hold.

b) Move your feet instead of you body while taking weights.
