Subclinical disease refers to the presence or onset of a disease without any visible signs and symptoms of the future disease condition. (diabetes,obesity, etc.,)

The significance of it are

  • Taking preventive measures ,if aware of the subclinical disease earlier
  • Early screening and initiation of treatment is possible
  • Able to reduce the unnecessary medical expenses
  • Can reduce the stress if disease arises by appropriate self management
  • To seek medical help at the earliest and prevent complications.
