1.(a) if we placed one glass rod near another glass rod after being charged. They repell to each other because they made up of same material . Which is made up of positive charge .so after being charged they both acquire positive charges. Due to the polarity of same charges they will repell to each other.

(b) both glass rod have the same charge because both are made of glass and manufacture with same type of materials.

2.A rubber to another rubber repel each other because they have same charge . Beacuse both are rubber and both rubber have positive charges. Due to their negative charges a repulsive force act between the two rubbers.

3. A glass and a rubber always attract to each other beacuse these are made up of different different materials so they have opposite polarity of charges. Due to their opposite nature of charges a attractive force act between them.rubber have a negative charge while glass have a positive charge.
