2 Fe + O2 -> 2 FeO

1st calculate the mol of O2 reacting
Given:
P = 1.0 atm
V = 11.5 L
T = 0.0 oC
= (0.0+273) K
= 273 K

find number of moles using:
P * V = n*R*T
1 atm * 11.5 L = n * 0.08206 atm.L/mol.K * 273 K
n = 0.5133 mol

From balanced equation above,
Mol of Fe required = 2*mol of O2 reacting
= 2*0.5133 mol
= 1.03 mol
Answer: 1.03 mol
