Both Series EE and Series I are U.S savings bonds.

Series EE bonds are sold at face value and carry fixed rate of interest whcih is paid at maturity.

Series I bonds are bonds that are issued at face value and carries interest rate that is flexible. Its interest rate adjusts based on inflation. If inflation increases, rate of interest increases and vice versa.
