When we take low carbohydrate diet it control the glucose level..When people eating less carbohydrate their body turn fat for energy,it produce more ketones..Ketones are molecules generate during fat metabolism,when fat converted into energy,more ketones are produced..It make lot serious side effects in our body..When body burning lot of fat for energy it will not get enough glucose..Our body can convert some of the protein we eat into glucose..Patient is compensating his glucose level with high protein diet..Patient is taking low carbohydrate and high protein so she is on nonketogenic diet..The use of protein make significant improvement in blood glucose regulation in response of carbohydrate challenge..
