Flood Zone information might not affect the home price only if homes in the zone always flood. on the other hand, if the home has some insurance then price can differ from those flood zoned homes which do not have any insurance. If homes in zone face the same insurance rates as homes outside the zone then people will always prefer homes which are outside of zone and thus the demand for zoned homes will be less. Along with this, if that area do not flood this year that does not mean it will not flood in the coming years as it is already marked as flood hazard zone.
