Moles of magnesium = (mass/atomic mass)

[ Atomic mass of Mg = 24 g/mol]

= (0.1332/24)

= 0.00555.

\Delta H per mole of MgO = (\Delta H​​​​​​/mole Mg) = ( - 2806.88/0.00555)

= - 505744 J/ mole-1.

\Delta H per mole of Mg = -505744 (Jmol-1) × 1KJ 1000J

= - 505.74 KJ mol-1.
