Write one paragraph describing the performance of the stocks, Shopify (SHOP) and Acceleron Pharma Inc. (XLRN). Why have the stocks dropped more or less than the relevant indices for each sector (e-commerce and biopharmaceutical technology) / the overall market index most appropriate for each stock (S&P 500, DJIA, or NASDAQ)?

Shopify has corrected more than the industry index in the recent bear market as it has risen more than the industry in the subsequent phase so stocks who have risen more, always have more room to correct. As far as the standard deviation of the share is concerned it has a high Deviations in respect to industry and it's business is badly hit due to coronavirus.

Acceleron pharma has outperformed the sector in terms of it's decline which is relatively lesser as at these health related situations, companies which are into pharma business will eventually gain because of people buying with adequate stocks of Different medicines due to lockdown.
