Answer #1

Generalist Species

Specialist Species

A generalist species is able to thrive/survive in a wide variety of environmental conditions including diet, climate etc.

A specialist can only thrive/survive in narrow range of environmental conditions and has limited variety of diet.

A generalist species can easily adapt to the changes in the environment and survives with no much difficulty.

A specialist species can only live in narrow range of condition and therefore becomes susceptible to extinction much more easily.

Examples: Brown bear, coyote, humans, rabbits, foxes, wolves, and common house fly

Examples: Giant panda, Venus flytrap, and Koala
