  • Capillaries are the place where the blood is transferred from arteries into veins and separated as deoxygenated blood.
  • The inferior vena cava receives the deoxygenated blood from lower parts of the body.
  • The superior vena cava receives the deoxygenated blood from the head, neck, and upper extremities.
  • Then the deoxygenated blood from superior and inferior vena cava goes through the right atrium.
  • Then it enters into the right ventricle via tricuspid valve.
