Comparing to other countries, the US healthcare system not worth for the country. The US does not provide Universal Health coverage for the people. Still, so many people are uninsured or lack of insurance coverage. Even though the country has a spending excess of the amount in healthcare but lack in healthcare outcome. The two health plans Medicaid or Medicare is not suitable for all citizens.
Further, the federal government does not expand the programme which increases debate on the healthcare system. On the other side, the insurance companies have their own network of providers and thereby increasing the healthcare cost. The burden of monthly premiums gives additional stress on employees. ACA does not cover pre-existing plan and increases the number of private plans. This increases the rate of uninsured people.
Mostly, young adults are uninsured after they denied from their parent's health plan. Lack of proper employment, unemployment, not covering pre-existing conditions makes young adults be uninsured. This creates a financial crisis in the health care system. In 2014, 32 million people are insured approximately.

This health system can cover all medical necessity services for the residents. It covers preventive services, long-term services, mental health services, medical and drug supplies.
This can be combined with public funding of Medicaid and Medicare so that the additional taxes depends on the ability and capacity of the individual. As these premium cover all care of services, there is no form of copays and deductibles. So the residents will prefer this type of health plans to avoid barriers. It is a straight forward system whereby all insurers will come under a single line. The physician also gets benefits and autonomy in patient care. The single-payer system is pretty cheaper and affordable. Through the single payer system, the Government has enough control over the health care system.
