Ans :- 24hrs urine sampling is mainly used for testing the function of our kidney many diseases like diabetic nephropathy ,pckd ,nephrotic syndrome this test is used

1st sample should be dicarded when we start this test because this urine is formed earlier by our kidney after that start collecting the urine in a large container and place the container in a cold place because at room temperature ph and specific Gravity of urine changes

The sign will help you to remember that u have to collect your urine in the same container to prevent the errors with the test

At the end of 24hrs the patient should be asked to urinate so that the test will be completed with a 24hrs sample if the patient will urinate after the timing then the sample amount will be altered and the results will not be accurate

If you discard the urine that is dark in color then the results will not be accurate because the purpose of the test is to assess the kidney function

If you send the sample to lab at the end of each shift then it will not give the accurate results you should store the sample in large container till the completion of 24grs and then send them to lab for testing
