We have to calculate the marginal product of labour. I have already calculated it in the last column of the table. We van calculate the MPL using the following formula
When labour increases from 4 to 5 the output changes from 72 to 80
Similarly when labour changes from 5 to 6 the output changes from 80 to 84
Thus, we can see with every additional unit of labour the total output is increasing but at a diminishing rate.
Therefore, it continue the pattern of diminishing marginal return.
