Answer #1

Answer : C = Step Cost.

In Step Cost total cost will constant for certain range of volume and increase again and will constant for certain volume.

Examples :

1.For certain volume 1 staff is enough if increase in volume there should be increase of staff i,e increase in fixed cost of salary

2. For certain volume some floor space is enough if increase in volume there should be increase of floor space i,e increase in fixed cost of rent.

In step cost we can observed that increase in the volume there will be addition fixed cost.

So the graph will be in the form of Step
