b) According to empirical rule about 95% of the data fall within two standard deviation from the mean.

26.8 - 2 * 5.2 = 16.4

26.8 + 2 * 5.2 = 37.2

The central 95% of autos can be expected to be found in the interval from 16.4 to 37.2.

c) 26.8 + 5.2 = 32

32 is one standard deviation above the mean.

According to empirical rule about 68% of the data fall within one standard deviation from the mean.

So 34% of adults should get more than 32 mpg.

d) 26.8 + 5.2 = 32

   26.8 + 2 * 5.2 = 37.2

34% of the data fall within the mean 26.8 and 32.

47.5% of the data fall within the mean 26.8 and 37.2.

47.5% - 34% = 13.5%

13.5% of adults should get between 32 and 37.2 mpg.
