Answer #1

Answer= None of them are true-

Option A can be true when Price of each good is equal to $2.

(20,30) point is inside of budget line.

Budget constraint= Px*x+Py*y=100

Px=Py=P

P(x+y)=100

P(20+30)=100

P=100/50=2

When P=2

2*20+2*30=40+60=100

Option B is incorrect as we cannot find the MRS without indifference curve.

Option C is incorrect as we cannot say which bundle the consumer prefrrs withoit indifference curve.

    Suppose that there two goods, X and Y , available in arbitrary nonnegative quantities (so the the consumption set is R 2 +). The consumer has preferences over consumption bundles that are monotone, strictly convex, and represented by the following (differentiable) utility function: u(x, y) = α √ x + (1 − α) √ y, where x is the quantity of good X, y is the quantity of good Y , and α ≥ 0 is a utility parameter.
