Abequa’s client population experiences such issues as substance abuse, child and elder abuse, communicable diseases, and chronic diseases. Abequa works hard to educate her native people about the pitfalls of not taking care of oneself and not engaging in a healthy lifestyle. She teaches the reservation’s inhabitants to have pride regarding their heritage and to show their pride by taking care of themselves and those in the community. 1. Answer: Abused children are at high risk of mental illness, depression, low performance in the class, less active, some of the children becomes aggressive.

It is important to identify the child abuser as by knowing the way, methods they approach towards the child. The child abuse can be in any form such as physical abuse, mental abuse etc.

When child is being abused, there are certain changes in his/her behavior. The child becomes depressed, silent, not participating in sports, fear, nightmares etc.

Sexual abuse in children has become common, those abusers such as drinkers, mentally sick people tends to does these activities. Those children who are most likely to be abused such as those who are introvert, small age, less attention from their parents etc. Children with low poverty status are easily targeted.
