Question 1

The plantiff and defendent are the two parties to the lawsuit.

The plantiff is the party that initiates the lawsuit by approaching the competent court and defendent is a party against whom the lawsuit is initiated at the competent court.

In some case, the lawsuit involves more than 1 person making the complaint and there are more than 1 person against whom the complaint is being made.

In such case, the lawsuit has multiple plantiffs and multiple defendents.

So, it is not right to say that every lawsuit has only one plantiff and one defendant.

Hence, the given statement is False.
