Affordable care act collectively called as "obamacare" is a health care law put forth by the united states in march 2010. The primary goals of the law are to

• provide the insurance to most of the people below the poverty level with premium tax credits.
• provide the medical help to all the adults below the poverty level
• support and finance new medical health care techniques to lower the cost of providing such health care to the populations.

the Affordable care act is still in effect with minor changes done to it to prevent or reduce the excessive burden to the government because president trump view on the law is constantly evolving
