Demand and supply are the most prominent tools of the market economy. These tools reflect the intentions of buyers and sellers respectively.

Any change in the motivation of buyers and sellers bring about the change in the demand and supply curves. If there is rise in the demand for products, the demand curve will shift to right. On other hand, if there is supply, the supply curve will shift to right as well.

Thus, the demand and supply reflect the motivations of buyers and sellers.
