One advertisement I would like to talk about is ad of a chewing gum which states that this chewing gum could infact whiten your teeth, so you should eat it after every meal. This is very popular brand of chewing gum.

Representation, omission, or practice likely to mislead

They have omitted the fact here that this might not work for all people as some of them might have other oral problems. Also, they did not specified that that this gum should not be used as a teeth whitening medication.

Reasonable Consumer' Test.

This ad fails this test as well. why? An average consumer already knows that a chewing gum will surely not solve their oral problems when people have to take proper advice by dentist and other procedures to whiten their teeth.
