Answer: Due to busy life people living together with their family are unable to look after the elderly people or sometimes they live alone and unable to perform their work due to any kind of disease or illness. So, it is necessary that someone should be takecare of them as they won't be able to takecare of themselves. In this circumstances it is appropriate to consider nursing home placement for an elderly patients or parents.
According to me, assisted living is a better choice as in home care the person will feel lonely but in assisted living they will get all the facilities as well as it is a kind of community in which many other people present to share, enjoy and live their normal life as they can make friends. The loneliness is the major cause of the disease and illness progression.
