1) Depression is most common disorder found world wide. It is a feeling of hopelessness and sadness. Antidepressant is a first line of treatment, SSRI is the group of drugs that inhibits serotonin re uptake and thus blocking muscarinic effects. Drinking coffee results in sleep disturbances and resulting in palpitations,feeling sick,restlessness and insomnia. Skipping medication will also results in sleep deprivation.

2) Serotonin syndrome occurs secondary to the intake of SSRI drugs used to treat depression. It occurs if there is high levels of serotonin accumulated in the blood. The most common signs and symptoms of serotonin syndrome includes anxiety, tremor,agitation. Anti depressants also increases the risk for suicidal tendency close supervision is needed for the patients taking in anti depressants.

3) Prothrombin time and International normalized ratio is used to monitor the efficacy of anticoagulants. It helps to check the ability to produce blood clots. It is mainly to assess the functions of proteins called coagulation factors.

4) Monoamine oxidase inhibitors are a group of drugs helps to inhibit the activity of monoamine oxidase enzymes that is responsible to cause phobic and panic disorders. Tyramine is made of amino acids which is essential to maintain blood pressure. The best response from the nurse is to advise patient about the serious effects of taking in tyramine rich diet. As it may results in serious complications like hypertensive crisis.

5) All the given foods are high in tyramine and should be avoided while taking in MOAI drugs.
