  • What causes your stomach pain
  • is it upon fasting or eating.
  • Does any food of medications triggers pain.
  • How is your pain relieved (medication, cold or hot compress)
  • What increases your pain (eating,exercises, cough )

Quality and Quantity

  • Can he type of pain be described (stabbing, crushing, nauseating, stretching or twisting )

Radiation,Region

  • Can the site of pain be pointed with finger to identify the exact location and ruling out the cause
  • Is the pain radiating ,to assess whether any other organs are involved

Severity

  • How severe is the pain on a 0_10 scale

Timing

  • When do the pain occurs ( before food or after good

Happened to U before

  • Has the pain experienced by you previously

Arthritis

Provocation

  • Is the pain caused because of activities or exercises
  • Was there any pain or swelling at greater toe,to rule oh arthritis and tge first sign

Quality /Quantity

  • Is the pain throbbing or dull

Region

  • Is the pain experienced at all joints
  • Is there are any pain at toes
  • Is the pain radiating to legs from toe

Severity

  • Is your pain severe on walking or doing activity
  • Can it be scored out of 0-10(patient usually grades above 7 due to severity of pain)

Time:

  • Is the pain experienced in morning time
