Contribution Margin per mile = Revenue per mile - variable cost per mile

= 0.90-0.26

= $0.64 per mile

1.Break even miles = Fixed costs/Contribution Margin per mile

= 640/0.64

= 1000 miles

2.Profit since miles driven are higher than break even miles

3.Number of miles = (Desired profit+Fixed costs)/Contribution Margin per mile

= (800+640)/0.64

= 2,250 miles
