In the given case, the family is under great deal of stress due to recent significant events in their life and this has impacted them physically as well as mentally.

In this case the nursing interventions are required now as the level of challenges are being enhanced in recent days by the children's drinking habit and other issues faced by them.

The most appropriate nursing intervention in this case is psychological assessment of the family and client and the psychological interventions regarding the issues.
