  • Patient: "There are people within the wall and they are talking to me. Can’t you hear them?"

Answer: Do not argue or agree with the delusion, hallucination or illusions.

( While intervening the patient suffering from schizophrenia, it is important that in the case of delusion, it should not be argued upon. Patient suffering from schizophrenia experiences hallucinations, delusions and they get totally out of touch with the reality.
