The novice has to be given a brief description of what is advance directives and its uses in the health care sector.Thw novice has to be trained covering most of the following. The HIM professional has to provide details on the patient self-determination act that every patient deserves and has the rights to know about their treatment for the diseases and make decisions. The patients should also be given a hope that their problems will be kept confidentially .The novice should be informed that the PSDA will oversee and recognise patient under Medicare and Medicaid has a living will or an advance directives .They have to make sure that the healthcare provider should communicate about thw types of care.The novice is supposed to report to the manager daily and update the work of each day.
