Cushing's syndrome patients are more prone to edema, infection, trauma, and breakdown and bruising. physical assessment should include assessing patient edema, check the patient intake and output and weight daily to avoid fluid overload and further complications. The patient will be in a fluid restriction to avoid fluid overload. high calories diet can increase the weight gain, so the patient is encouraged to increase protein and adequate calcium and low-calorie diet intake.
