caused her child not to sleep well. The mother also states that she is also feeling itchy but

thought “it was all in her head.” The patient attends daycare while her mother is at work.

Itchy blister like rashes on the skin is the typical characteristics of chickenpox . The diagnosis of patient is chikenpox.

Nursing diagnosis:

(1) impaired skin integrity related to blisters and itching

(2) disturbed body image related to lesion on the skin.

(3) hyperthermia related to disease condition.

(4) deficient knowledge regarding disease condition and treatment modality

(5) risk of infection related to damage tissue.
