2- We are citizens in a democratic society, and as students and faculty, we deserve to make our voices heard on what information and/or resources we need to stay healthy during the coronavirus outbreak here in NYC. please comment here with either a question you want to have answered or a recommendation for how you think Colleges could be doing a better job of communicating with our community about this outbreak and how to stay safe.
1, the ACA health insurance market suffered with risk pool in
many countries, that need more medical attention and care. ACA
-Obama care period Americans suffered from the small group market.
Repealing made many people without health insurance. Partial repeal
bills using reconciliation made no funds for cost-sharing subsidies
and premium credits from ACA, it reduced federal government payment
to states adopted the ACA Medicaid expansion. there was a delay in
repalcement plan subsidies for insurance plans. excange without
offering plans from health insurance comany many ameraicns not
afford for insurance and afforded only with subsidies. American
health care Act(AHCA) eliminated essential health benefits from
individual and small group markets. there was repeal and replace
for essentail health benefit challenges continued for regulatory
implementation of essential health benefits.
2, Preventing and protecting the community from getting spread with
coronavirus respiratory illness and making them stay at home as a
community approaches, college participation in making awareness CDC
involvement to implement the activity for public health education
and providing necessary resources help the community avoid catching
the symptoms. schools and colleges remaining close protect the
student and miliion of childrens avoid this disease spread.
Education among community and public to aware of mild symtomsna and
protetion and standards precautions helps to prepare them from the
outbreak. People after catching this virus within 12 days they show
the symptoms and need self-isolation for 14 days to avoid exposure.
proper handwashing for 12 seconds and if they sick not to be close
with other sick people can avoid catching the infection. closing
the mouth and nose while going outside and while sneezing and
coughing with handkerchief avoid spreading disease. Avoid touching
the mouth and nose and eyes with contaminated hands can make them
safe from this disease outbreak... To protect public health with
necessary resources like food, water, and sanitation supply
American government extended its contribution with community and
health workers as a primary responsibility.
