Answer: The environmental hazards that pose risk to the patient safety as the patient is having Tuberculosis. There could be difficulty in breathing as the patient remove sthe oxygen tubing. This also increases the risk of short of breath. The another major risk to the patient safety is the risk of disease transmission. The removal of catheter causes bacteria to spread all over as tuberculosis is a communicable disease. The IV line removal also causes incomplete dose or dose error which could make bateria more resistive towards the treatment.
