8. AIDS drug assistance programs (ADAP) are present in all state i.e. 50 states in the U.S and provide FDA approved HIV treatment drugs for low-income patients.

9. AIDS is considered a syndrome i.e. group of diseases in most of the patients affecting a variety of ill-effects.

10. Most of the U.S. federal funding for HIV/AIDS goes toward the care & treatment for effective management of this communicable disease.

11. The UNAIDS strategy calls on countries to reach the goals by 2020 i.e. 90% of the persons living with HIV will know their status, 90% of patients diagnosed HIV will receive effective antiretroviral therapy, 90% of the patient taking this therapy will show the suppression of the virus. Hence its called 90:90:90 treatment in the U.S.
