FIND THE ICD-10-CM CODE ASSIGNMENT FOR EACH CASE

CASE 2: Samantha returns today for follow-up of her elbow and knee flexion contractures. X-RAYS REVIEWED: AP pelvis, AP and lateral knee, and AP and lateral elbow X-ray show no significant finding. The finding are consistent with multiplex, congenital arthrogryposis involving the elbows and knees

CASE 5: Theresa Louise present today for a 2-week checkup after a normal vaginal delivery. Mom says baby is eating well and is alert, responds appropriately when she hears noise, and is overall healthy. Upon examination there is a slight murmur when listening to the heart. We performed an EKG and chest X-ray. There appears to be a small ventricular septal defect, which would have been present at birth. WE will not do anything further at this but will monitor this condition.

CASE 8: I was called in on consultations for this 16-hour-old newborn due to loud systolic heart murmur. A chest X-ray shows a decreased pulmonary vascular marking and boot-shaped cardiac silhouette. EKG demonstrated a right ventricular hypertrophy and right axis deviation and right atrial hypertrophy. Additional diagnostic imaging and echocardiography confirms tetralogy of Fallot.

CASE10 : This 3-year-old female child and her parents are returning to the office today to follow up after a series of tests that included a muscle biopsy and electromyography. Upon examination that child is walking with a wadding gait, and toe walking. The finding from the diagnostic testing confirm muscular dystrophy.
