1.Asbetos are silicate compounds

Usually people get exposed to asbestos in their work place. People are exposed to asbestos by inhaling or accidently swallowing it.There is also some low levels of asbestos erupted from asbestos-containing rocks.if the asbestos fibers are released into the air and when it is respired it get trapped in the lungs resulting in scarring and inflammation..it could affect the breathing pattern and cause serious health hazards.it is enlisted within the group of human carciniogens..it could result in asbestosis. it is manifested by coughing,,dyspnea, and could result in lung damage.

OSHA has established regulations for the safety of workers ,who comes in contact with asbestos on a daily basis.It has enforced the workers to use the protective equipment and follow the recommended workplace practices and safety procedures.Generally,try to avoid going to places where renovation work is done,as older buildings contain asbestos-insulated materials.
