CONCERNS OVER BURYING HUMAN TISSUE :

Burying of human tissue that is placenta under shrubs, dessert, garden, wet lands is performed as a ritual in America. Not only America but also in many places of the worlds this system of burial is undergoing for over years. After the child birth the waste which will come out of mother womb is Placenta, in medical words we call it as CLINICAL WASTE. After complete expulsion of placenta out of woman womb it is discarded in dustbin or degraded with other human tissues which is a normal process in all the hospitals. But some of the families follow their family ritual to bury that placenta under ground, the reason behind it is they believe in completion of birth journey process in their family by women.

Giving willingness to take that after birth product does not make any sense, but by keeping of family decision in front doctors will agree to some extent. But not all the cases it is not possible, because in some cases mother may undergo for abortions, antepartum hemorrhage, postpartum hemorrhage where doctors do not allow for such practices., as to undergo for medical diagnostic findings. In america burying of human tissue is believed to start a new life beginning as the buried place give fruit full results for the family. The complete burial process is performed as a big ceremony where all the family persons involves to participate in it. Respecting others opinions is important in both medical and nursing professions. If the situation arise in hospital nurse has to sign a form from mother as it is is of their own risk of taking human tissue for burial process. Explain the hospital policies in planning of such activities in hospital.
