1. Marcus should make himself physically and mentally prepared for the long hours of surgery . Should eat well, take rest when there is no work and make his mind understand that he has to work for 6-8hours without break so that he does not get frustrated while providing care to the patient and also he can arrange staffs if there is a extreme shortage so that extra stress is relieved.

2. The tips to reduce strain while the case is in progress are :-

- maintain a wide base of support

- use a well height stool to sit inbetween the procedure without getting unsterile .

- taking break inbetween the procedure by allocating another staff for a short duration of time .

3. The body mechanics to be maintained are :-

- wide base of support

- don't bend at waist level

- bend the knees

- keep articles close to yourself

- don't stretch yourself

- use longest and strongest muscles

- push instead of pulling

- face the object

- while lifting a weight ,keep center over foot

- avoid reaching out

- minimise bending and twisting

- store heavy and frequently used objects at waist level

- change position ,and maintain proper posture

4. Safety eyewear with side shields and a lip over his eyes are used to avoid any spillage of body fluids into the eyes while the procedure is being done .
