  • The infectious disease disaster slowly become serious and fatal but the mass casualty incidents are sudden.
  • The chance to save people in mass casualty incident is very less when compared to infectious disease disaster.
  • The impact of mass casualty is much higher than the infectious disease disaster. There is panic everywhere, though in case of infectious disease disaster it is also the same but it can be managed.

  • During the infectious disease disaster, the authorities have more time and resources to treat the victim but in case of mass casualty that is like a sudden hit, it is difficult to cope efficiently.
