He must have the assessment skills by which he can understand the seriousness of the injury, the appropriate first aid measures to be give to the victim, chances of the recovery after first aid, can monitor any changes on the vital functioning of the body.

Secondly, the incident happened away from the town and before reaching to a medical facility the appropriate first aid is required as the client is bleeding profusely.

The doctor would have provided first aid to stop bleeding, so that the client is saved from the hemorrhagic shock.
