o "The teachers draw on their own life experiences to join the children in play. Some experiences, such as going to the beauty salon or traveling to see family members, are familiar to the teachers. Others they learn about from the children. The role of the teacher—learner is often reversed in play—the teachers learn from the children, and the children learn from each other. Most of the children and teachers in the class are Latino, and Spanish is the shared language; yet there are some clear cultural and linguistic differences, depending on countries of origin. Play gives children and teachers opportunities to learn more about each other's cultural practices."[1]

 How can an early childhood teacher acquaint the whole class to the cultural practices of Latino attending children?
