DIALYSIS : Dialysis is defined as a treatment or procedure which filters, purifies blood in the body of humans using a machine called Dialyzer, when kidneys stop functioning in the body.

RECOMMENDATIONS :

* Seeing the age of the person, it is recommended to give psychological support to the patient during the starting stages of procedure. Monitoring of vital signs, placing patient on intravenous fluid supplements, measure the intake and output chart of patient fluid status, providing diet plan which she has to follow, explain the need of procedure,etc

* Family members support and cooperation is important during the initial stages of procedure as dialysis procedure require high expenditure based the level of kidney function. Explain the procedure, duration, action, stay in the hospital, expenditure, dietary considerations to the family members. If the person is married involve patient partner in the procedure, importance of procedure and if the patient is unmarried involve parents and closed relatives to participate in the procedure procedure.

* Prepare patient and family members thoroughly about importance of dialysis, its cost effective, life long treatment plans on health. providing health educations, emotional support to all members of the family.

* Patient is undergoing for the procedure should follow strict dietary practices, as the kidneys are unable to filter wastes in the body. Dietary plan includes the patient has to take more amount of protein rich diet, low fatty foods, drink plenty of fluids

* At the time of dialysis patient will undergo into the stage of stress where the vital signs are going to increase causing to cardiac deformities. Stress management can be done by practicing of deep breathing and coughing exercises, relaxation techniques, family support, diversional therapy, good coping mechanisms has to follow during the procedure.

* Encouraging patient to go for general physical activities like mild walking, exercises, yoga, meditation in therapist presence to protect patient from physical damages to body and encourage for healthy life being.

* Educate the patient don't go for alcohol, smoking.drug abuse or substance abuses, as it causes liver damage and interrupts during the whole procedure and causes secondary complications to kidneys.
