3. Mainly the infection is transmitted through the ways of contact, inhalation, ingestion and congenital routes. Proper disposal of contaminated objects helps to prevent transmission of microorganisms from source to the host. So it effectively helps in breaking the chain of infection.

4. If we are not cleaning the serratious part of the surgical instruments properly that may leads to either sterilization failure or it affects the quality of the surgical instrument. If you are not properly clean the instruments, the remnants of the surgery act as a source of infection.
