1. I liked to be called as Ash ,the short form of my name Ashwariya.

2. I wanted to persue a degree in healthcare services from my childhood itself . Fortis is a primier institute in private sector which works hard towards accomplishing it's mission and vision by providing efficient quality care to the consumers and quality education to the students . Also it was nearby my home ,so I choose Fortis for this course.

3. This course is all about 'Developmental theory '. Developmental theories present systematic ways of thinking about how human beings grow from babies to adolescents to adults to elderly people, and the various changes they undergo as they make this passage. Different developmental theories describe different types of changes. Jean Piaget's influential theories describe how people's intellectual development evolves over time. Lawrence Kolhberg's theories describe moral evolution over time as people grow, and Eric Erikson and Robert Kegan have created theories that describe how identity and the nature of the self change with increasing maturity.

In this case ,Joe is a 12 year boy who is always playing indoor video games and does not have any Social interactions even with his friends because of which he punched Austin when he called him geek .

Here two developmental theories are being applied :

- Jean Piaget = children should be given learning task appropriate to their level of development .

- Lev Vygotsky = children should be given opportunity for frequent social interaction . Social contact is essential for intellectual development .
