1.This patient with cholecystectomy to prevent pneumonia post operative should do

a. Coughing and deep breathing exercises : Increases the lung capacity and brings out the secretions there by reducing CO2 and increases the oxygen levels prevents the collapse of lungs

b. Use of incentive spirometer: Enables the lung expansion and easy exchange of gases happen and decreases the Carbon dioxide level and increase the oxygen levels.

c. Deep breathing exercises helps in expulsion of secretions and increases the lung capacity.

2.The patient with ulcerative colitis will have

a. Frequent bloody stools through out the day: Patients with this condition have tiny ulcers and small abscesses in their colon and rectum that flare up periodically and causes bloody stools and diarrhoea.

3.Nursing intervention for Acute pancreatitis with parental nutrition

a. Check the clients' glucose level: As patient can develop as a complication of acute pancreatitis. So monitoring the glucose level is important. As it is also one of the early signs of pancreatic cancer it should be monitored periodically.

b. Administer the oral hypoglycemic agent to the patient if patient has developed diabetes. If patient is on nil per oral with Nasogastric tube crush the medicine and administer through NG tube.

4.The cause of colon cancer

a. Cancer of colon is associated with low fibre in the diet: All processed meat, more consumption of red meat with low fibre diet leads to colon cancer.
