1. The first action of the medical assistant is to explain the procedure to the patient that they are going to shift her from the car to the wheelchair and they will not hurt her as they will provide her support from the weak side .

2. The best therapeutic response of the medical assistant when the patient gets panic is to console the patient and explain her that nothing will happen ,we are shifting you from the care to the wheelchair with extreme care .

3. Yes, the situation could have been avoided if the wheelchair has been put on the other side of the car means the strongest side of Mary .She won't have got panic that much if she was shifted from the strongest side .
