Answer #1

Healthy eating is considered as major deficit in adolescents especially in girls. One of the major problems which leading to unhealthy eating is body image disturbances. They usually thinks that if they eat more they became fat and people will make fun of them. So they will always spend time with the mirror and looking at they will evaluate themselves as they were fat or not. So the person with these problems most of the time will be taking less food which is called anorexia nervosa or if they taken more food they will try to vomit the food by themselves to reduce the absorption. Bothe these conditions needs evaluation and further management. It will be very difficult to convince these people about the problem it will require intense therapy sessions and the person should be motivated for the session. So the initial faces will be to validate their problem and make them aware that it is part of the illness and it has to be monitored and treated.

Another important measure is the monitoring and support from the home. Because in the home environment the patient will be staying more , so the therapist will be considering to give home work which has to be completed at home, and the parents should be supportive with the patient in the way he was taking care for the treatment. Also, in situations they feel that the effort was very minimal, but it can also will be helpful if they provide the support for further management.
